I can't shut it off.
This thing I've begun,
And it's hard to tell,
Just where it's coming from.
And it's hard to see,
What I'm capable of;
And it's hard to believe
Just what I've become.

Me, I'm not.
I can swallow it down.
Keep it all inside.
I define myself.
By how well I hide.
I feel it coming apart.
Well, at least I tried.
I can win this war.
By knowing not to fight.
If I take it all back.

If I knew back then,
What I know right now.

Spotlight: SlajoC

Time for another one of my Spotlights! This one shouldn't come as a surprise to many people who've watched me recently, as it's someone I've commissioned in bulk.
It's FrownRine, the artist that brought my Sailor series to life. Originally I only commissioned one single piece, but I enjoyed working with him, and liked the concept we were building, so I paid him to do the other four all at once, and they turned out great! Throughout the process he kept me up to date on progress and drafts, and was very cool about it the few times I requested changes. In the process we became friends and he even invited me to help moderate his group! Check here for that and feel free to submit your own art.
I definitely recommend you consider him if you ever want to get commissions. Go watch his page! He's not open right now, but he will be again. He has few limits for what he'll do for you. I know I'll definitely work with him again in the future.

Spotlight: Fumuu

It's been awhile since I've done a Spotlight, as I haven't been spending a lot of time at the computer recently, but something popped up in my activity today that reminded me of an artist I really like working with and who has been very sweet and nice to me personally over the last year.
Meet Ipun! She is a talented artist with a very cute style, and probably the only artist I've commissioned that routinely does My Little Pony stuff seemingly more than people stuff. (Not that I have anything against MLP, it's just not my bag, and most artists do one or the other exclusively, while Fumuu does both.)
Her prices are very reasonable, and commissions open regularly. In fact, as of this writing, they're open now! Which is what gave me the idea to do this Spotlight for her and maybe shoot a little business her way. She very much deserves it.
